Traditional Thai Massage
Fully clothed massage with acupressure and assisted stretching. Firm, rhythmic and energising.
Soul Treats brings deep tissue massage to your hotel room, condo or home in central Bangkok. Slow, firm pressure works into the deeper layers of muscle across the back, shoulders, neck and legs, always adjusted to your comfort. Sessions cost THB 1,000 for 60 minutes, THB 1,300 for 90 and THB 1,600 for 120, every day from noon until 3am.
Your therapist arrives at your hotel room or condo with the massage oils and balm, and the treatment takes place on your own bed, so there is nothing to prepare and nowhere to travel. After a short chat about the areas that feel tight and the pressure you prefer, the session works methodically through the back, shoulders, neck and legs.
Deep tissue is firmer than a relaxation massage. Your therapist uses slow strokes and sustained pressure from the palms, thumbs and forearms, so it is normal to feel strong, satisfying pressure on the tightest spots. They check in throughout and adjust, so the work stays effective without becoming unpleasant, and you stay covered by the bed sheet throughout, apart from the area being worked on.
It suits anyone carrying tension from exercise, heavy travel or long hours at a screen, and it is popular with business travellers staying near the offices of Silom and Sathorn. For stretching as well as pressure, choose traditional Thai massage; for warmth on stiff areas, try herbal balm massage; for something gentler, oil massage is a better fit.

Deep tissue is about slow, focused work on the areas you choose, rather than covering the whole body lightly.
Slow strokes and sustained pressure work along and across the muscle to reach the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. The therapist lets each area soften before going deeper, which is why the pace feels slower than other treatments.
Traditional Thai massage covers the whole body with rhythmic pressure and assisted stretches, clothed and without oil. Deep tissue spends longer on fewer areas, typically the back, shoulders, neck and legs, with firmer, more sustained pressure.
Your therapist warms the muscles with lighter strokes, then builds pressure on the areas you named, checking in as they go. The session ends with calmer strokes, so you finish relaxed rather than sore.
Drink plenty of water and take it easy for the rest of the evening. Mild tenderness the next day can happen after firm work, and a warm shower can feel good. If anything felt too strong, tell us for next time.

Deep tissue massage uses slow, firm pressure to reach the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Rather than working only on the surface, it focuses on the knots and tension that build up from training, travel and long hours of sitting. Soul Treats brings it to hotel rooms and condos across central Bangkok.
It uses stronger pressure than a relaxation massage, so you will feel firm, focused work on the tightest areas, but it should never be genuinely painful. Your therapist builds pressure gradually and checks in throughout. If you prefer something lighter, just say so and the pressure is softened straight away.
Many guests book it for exactly that. Slow, firm pressure can help ease tight, sore muscles after exercise, long flights or long days at a desk, and many find they move more freely afterwards. If you have an injury or a medical condition, mention it when you book so your therapist can adjust.
Sixty minutes, at THB 1,000, suits one or two focus areas such as the shoulders and upper back. Ninety minutes, at THB 1,300, is a popular choice because it covers the back, shoulders, neck and legs at a steady pace. At THB 1,600, 120 minutes suits a long-haul arrival or a heavy week of training.
Yes. You can ask for a favourite therapist when you book, subject to availability. Tell us your hotel or condo, that you would like deep tissue, the length and the time, and we confirm the price and arrival time before anyone sets off.
